Kay stole Christmas

What is wrong with our Holiday season. (No question mark needed as it is a declarative statement.) It is not the lack of a Jesus in the manger or the “mistakenly” overlooking of an eight day extravaganza. Nay, these are but the esoteric overlooking of religious icons and reasons of worship. The real issue with our Holiday season is the laziness of America’s gift givers. Kay Jewelers prays and enables the laziness. My heart sinks with every airing of each Kay commercial. It is not a lack of romanticism on my part. In fact it is the opposite.

What could be less romantic then seeing a commercial for something that represents a couple’s “journey of love,” then going with this as the lowest common denominator – and giving as a gift to a loved one.

Use your head and heart and think about who you are buying a gift for. Use your feelings for this person as a guide to gift giving. Not a snowy slay ride with lazy, Johnny who bought something because between NJ Devil’s innings he was conscious enough to register Kay = kiss.

Neat Tip – Not every kiss begins with Kay.

If "not every kiss begins with Kay" is true, than, "not everything that begins with Kay is a kiss" is also true.
If you read between the lines there...one may not want to be so hasty in ruling out Kay...is all I'm saying...
