On my calender, at the beginning of the Summer, I penned in the Roots Family picnic on June 6th. I started recruiting cohorts to join me immediately. It wasn't so much that TV on the Radio was playing or the Black Keys (which would all be fun), it was that Public Enemy was playing the entirity of 'It takes a nation of millions to hold us back' with the Roots and Antibalis backing em up. A b boy dream. A chance to see something that almost shouldn't have been possible being a touch before our time, the days we couldn't b boy in person. Well the date has come and gone and I spent the 6th getting horrible sunburnt and discussing design, marketing, and mens health with a bunch of fun boys in the Hamptons. I done f*cked up.
Heres and excerpt and it's hot. Check Tuba Gooding Jr doing his thing.
