So it turns out that the Sandler's don't have a view of the Southern Sky from our NYC apt. DirecTV cannot work here and I couldn't be more upset. I have had 9/17 marked on the calendar for weeks. From 12-4 the technician was coming, they called at 11am, said they would be there at 2pm. At 1:45 the doorbell rings and by 1:15 my heart was crushed. The NFL needs to work on this shit, I dont even get NFL network here thru Time Warner. I am still working on some pirated online hook up...details to follow.

TY i've stayed at your place and you have really crazy cable. i think it took us an hour to get it turned on. Fios?? you could come to dc for every game??
Gut wrenching disappointment. I had plans. In BK, at my crib by the bridge, I paid the DTV guy under the table to throw the dish on top of a building and run a cable down the side of the building. The landlord hated that (and my having a dog...which wasnt really mentioned during negotiations) but I avoided his calls till the end of the football season. Just an idea?
