yesterday i was riding in the whip with my old man bumping a local jersey classic rock station when this track came on the box. i could not help myself from laughing out loud as the jam really started heating up. stan was perplexed and i started to explain but the story just wasnt translating. not sure it will do any better here but for those not in the know, over the ween weekend there was a dispute on who sang "runaway train." now, im not going to point out who thought what and who won what bet, but what is important to remember (and what Nick E. Madoff reminded me last nite via textual message) is that macaroni paw drank mushroom tea with this band. that blows my mind, especially when i watch this video. a few revelations came out of this. as Nick pointed out, its incredible that "shine" is considered classic rock. two, noodle will party with anyone.

Treech let these fellows know that phish once covered this jam and dude replied that though he had heard that, he doesn't actually care to hear their cover and please pass the mush tea. Treech told them they need a new mgr because they had played a show in Canada, then were in VA for a free show in Norfolk, only to fly back to Canada the next night. Dude replied that they were all set and in fact had a new album about to "drop."
This is all too much.
Heard ya got paid.
