ironman vs prince caspian: a neat debate

this comes out of a conversation between mr ridic and and Temsgen.  so i pose on to the, which song is more kick ass?  may seem like a no brainer but i thought i would at least give ozzie and rdj a chance.

first up, a closing section of caspian from summer 99 when the band was, by my estimations, was at its creative peak.

next up, a full caspian from the kohl center in madison, wi

and finally the original video for black sabbath's ironman.

tgif.................bitches

Although I speak from a place of somewhat ignorance - if taken at face value I find Iron Man to be a more "kick ass" song. I hear Caspian playing as Iron Man is flying away from a scene where he has wrought destruction on those who would impose their tyrannical ways on a peace loving populace. I hear Iron Man playing while Iron Man is actually shooting the fireballs and little missals out of his shoulders as he exits the cave and exacts just revenge for his imprisonment and slaying of his friend. Thus Iron Man is for kicking ass and Caspian for reflecting on that ass kicking you just handed out. Truth be told.

well said. does that also mean its more bitchin? i agree with the majority of your argument and i think it would be a no brainer in ironman's favor if it wasnt for the first trey solo from 99

Iron Man hands down.

But why? They have the feel of something real and original. Seriously demented, not just aspiring to be demented.

Also why is Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Led Zep, and the Boss all still filling houses? I think for the same reason Iron Man is more awesome.

The only way to judge a song verus a song is to play them both at the same time, or backwards if possible. If you start the bottom Prince Caspian and the Ironman videos at the same time it makes a sick mashup. Througout this mashup Ironman dominates, you can't be Ozzy & Powerchords. Sabbath rules bro.
