Some things to be thankful for

I was reading the papers this morning for holiday cheer and I found five things I’m thankful for.

1. Scorpions are small, the biggest is 30 cm; 390 million years ago they were 8 ft.
2. Facebook is allowing you to type in your own status instead having to choose from their pre-written options, (finally)!
3. That I don’t live on the Welsh border with a Gaelic street name “Cae Onan”--translation: Masturbation Meadow.
4. That I am not a part of the “Gate D” Fans at Jets football games.
5. That I don’t have a fourth grader that attends Macon Elementary in Georgia where the substitute teacher disrobed from the waist down during class. The school went on code-red lockdown as she was removed from the building.

I can’t wait to see everyone in Virginia this weekend, Tyler turns 29 at midnight on Saturday!

I'm thankful for the neatness and all of this.
