Dearest readers and contributors to all things remotely neat,
As most of you already know, Beans n Greens Gillman and I have a neat new address and home phone number. For any future correspondence via mail please find us at
675 Sackett St
apt 210
brooklyn, NY 11217
If you would like to speak to us on that most novel of inventions, the land-line, please try us at (347) 227 7714.
You are all welcome to visit anytime. We have had the distinct privilege of having Perfect Friend as our first over night house guest and i must confess it was a magical weekend. My den/library/office doubles as a full second bedroom so we have plenty of space. Hager took the highway to the nap zone.
The place is really starting to come together, even though I almost got into a fist fight this morning with a delivery guy from crate and barrel who repeatedly sucked through his teeth every time I asked him to do something.
A neat tip for all you prospective homeowners out there:
Take it slow and remember that your dream home may not be perfect at first. Remember to breathe and relax when you find a random streak of white paint on the floor. The ideal piece of furniture may take some time to find. Getting to know the ins and out, quirks and imperfections is all part of the experience. At the end of the day don't lose sight of the fact that it is a mitzvah to be able to even own your own place. Don't let leaky faucets or scuffed floors get in the way of the joys of writing a mortgage check and not a rent check. The most important thing to keep in mind is that home is where the heart is.
dedicated to my boo and band mate, the giggles, for her patience throughout this whole process.

Super neat weekend. E-P-I-C
HGTV is my favorite TV station...fo real, not kidding. The old lady and I heart flip that house.
As a homeowner, I can concur that patience is of the highst importnace when converting a new house to a home. Also seeking to usurp the local government from the inside is key to happy home owning.
