Yes, I like REO Speedwagon.

I can't figure out why people give me so much grief for enjoying an REO Speedwagon song from time to time. I consider myself a purveyor and critic of pop music. In this realm, it is my duty to seek out sing along power chords that make people feel neat. REO does it for me, why not you? I have never seen a picture of the band nor have I heard an album, only what's on the radio. Maybe they dress like women? Well, so does everybody else. Maybe their songs are "soft"? Well, so am I. Maybe their music is a few years behind our generation? Well, so was Jerry but I know plenty of you had "steallies" on the back of your cars.

Neat tip: Give REO Speedwagon a try. 'Time to Fly' is a great song.

SEE JASON! People do like REO Speedwagon, it needs to go back on the wedding playlist!

Awesome power ballads:
(good for end of night drunkeness and
over-affectionate swaying)
Keep on Loving You
Can't Fight this feeling

in fact, there is a whole medley dedicated to songs meant to be swayed to while singing along and crying.
