Have your cake and eat it too

While I would never recommend a "cliche" lifestyle, an actual cliche can be powerful. A cliche can prove to be insightful, funny, and make you sound wise beyond your years. The cliche is a paticularly helpful tool when you find yourself in a conversation in which you really have no idea what you are talking about. Another neat way to use the cliche is if you find yourself talking to someone that you really don't feel like talking to (often via work, or some sort of function). When in these situations try to drop as many as possible and keep a count. I have often thought about trying to go a full day speaking in nothing but cliches. Consider.....Rise and shine and I'm a little groggy cause I was burning the midnight oil. It's a dog eat dog worlkd and I'm trying to up the ante, plus the buck stops here so its time to beat the sreet. My car is firing on all cylinders and woth its weith in gold, so I'm feeling like a million bucks. I greet my coworker who has champagne taste and kool aid money. We talk shop , but time is money so I tell him lets put our nose to the grindstone. He says "another day another dollar," but I'm trying to break the bank so I go gang busters to try to put the family in the black....
You can literally go on all day. So, when you find yourself in a boring conversation or in over your head, do something neat and behold the power of the cliche.
