By Staci LaRueWhen one is finished with the time in their life where dating and mating is all it's about, the journey begins to find something more. This journey is filled with uncertainty and doubt but also with excitement and wonder. It becomes less about the color of their hair and more about the color of their life. Do they posses the qualities that feed your deepest layers? Are their goals in life going to keep you from yours, or will your separate paths lead to more adventure ahead? I always thought I needed symmetry. I thought if someone was on a similar path as mine we would sail off in the sunset of love and live happily ever after. I have learned I was wrong. Within the differences comes a lot more excitement. The more a person can challenge your character, test your strength, and push you to the limit the closer you are to finding true love. Of course the compromise must be a hand to hold while learning to walk across the hot coals of life and arms wide open at the end of the race.
I dedicate this tip to the man I will soon call my husband (or hubby).
You have challenged me to constantly challenge myself, you have seen me through the trenches, you have pushed me in the mud (and then picked me up while pointing and laughing), but all the while loving me and being there when it really matters.
